Varina High School (VA) had five seniors sign letters of intent Wednesday morning, with one of the five — 6’2″, 190-pound cornerback Tim Harris — deciding to take his talents to the University of Virginia.
Harris verbally committed to UVa the day of the 2012 Spring Game (April 14). It was certainly good news for the Cavaliers, but it wasn’t surprising, as the Blue Devils standout was thought to be a longtime Virginia lean. In fact, he had considered committing at UVa’s 7-on-7 tournament in 2011.
