Spring Superlatives – Most Likely To Be Consistent

The Sabre’s Spring Superlatives series rolls along as Cavalier fans ponder the possibilities for the 2013 football season. So far there have been articles on “Most Depth,” “Most Likely To Surprise,” and “Most Potential” at the end of spring practice. This time, the focus is dialed in to “Most Likely To Be Consistent” for the Hoos. Which position looks like it could produce week in and week out?

The leading contenders appear to be the running backs or the cornerbacks, both due to experience. I’ve zeroed in on the running backs for this recognition, though. Despite losing Perry ‘Superman’ Jones to graduation, this unit still features three backs that have carries and receptions out of the backfield. All three have the potential to deliver some big performances this fall in orange and blue.
