Asked if location would be a factor in his college decision, rising senior Jeffery Farrar said: “Not one sliver. Wherever I go, my father is going to come watch me play.”

This certainly is a plus for the University of Virginia, one of roughly 15 schools to have offered a scholarship to the Upland (CA) star. Farrar is seriously considering UVa and may tour the Grounds soon.

“We’re still figuring it out, but I’m hoping to visit in the next two weeks,” he said.

Farrar, a 6’1″, 195-pound athlete, initiated the contact with the Cavaliers.
