UVa Has Offered Three At Gonzaga

DeMatha Catholic and Good Counsel have dominated the WCAC over the past 10 years, with either one or the other capturing the conference’s postseason championship since 2003. Gonzaga College High School (Washington, D.C.), led by head coach Aaron Brady, aims to give the WCAC a new champion this season.

Brady has led Gonzaga to three straight winning seasons, including an appearance in the conference postseason championship in 2011.

“The league is very talented. It’s one of the most talented conferences in the country,” Brady said. “To me, it’s like being in a college league. Brady, who played football collegiately at Rutgers, wants “a college-like program,” he said. “Once the kids have success, they realize how you do things and that there is no other way to do things.
