A scholarship offer from the University of Virginia “is huge because that’s the biggest school I have an offer from,” said Liberty (Bealeton, VA) rising senior offensive lineman RJ Proctor, who landed the offer from the Cavaliers late last month. JMU, Old Dominion and VMI offered earlier in the year.

“It’s an ACC school, which is huge for me because I always thought I could go bigger than what people said. When UVa offered that was huge for me because that told me I could play at a high level like that.”

The 6’4”, 320-pound prospect followed the good news up with an unofficial visit to UVa this past Saturday.

“It’s a huge school. The coaches showed me every single corner of it,” said Proctor, who had visited UVa twice before earlier this year. “It’s amazing. There is a whole bunch of history to it.”
