KENNY WILLIAMS
It’ll be the Hoos or the Heels for 4-star shooting guard Kenny Williams, a senior out of L.C. Bird High School in Chesterfield, Virginia. Skyhawks varsity boys basketball coach Troy Manns has confirmed Jeff Borzello’s Twitter report released earlier today.

Williams, who originally signed with VCU last November but was granted a release following Shaka Smart’s departure to Texas, took an official visit to UNC on April 19 and made an unofficial visit to UVa on April 21. The 6’4″ standout is scheduled to take an official visit to UVa this weekend.
Manns said he was not sure if Williams has a specific timetable for when he will make his college choice.
Florida, Georgetown, Kansas, Louisville, Michigan, Texas and VCU were also in the mix once Williams gained his release. Williams narrowed the field to Florida, Michigan, North Carolina and Virginia earlier this week before cutting down to two today.
VJ KING
Five-star class of 2016 small forward V.J. King has narrowed his list as well. Once again it was good news for the Hoos, as Virginia joins Arizona, Connecticut, Kentucky and Louisville on the finalist list for the 6’6″, 200-pound junior out of Paul VI (Fairfax, VA).
