Four-star forward Sacha Killeya-Jones, a rising senior out of Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA), is now considering other options and has de-committed from the University of Virginia.

“I talked with my family after I got home from school last week. We talked about how I didn’t really go through the normal recruiting process, as I committed very early before I took any official visits. I have nothing but good things to say about Coach Bennett and UVa, but I just want to go through the visit process to make sure that my choice was the right one, especially since its such a big decision,” Killeya-Jones wrote in a direct message to TheSabre.com.

This development is obviously a blow to UVa’s 2016 Class, as Killeya-Jones is a highly skilled prospect at a position of need. Virginia still has a commitment from 6’10” forward Jay Huff, but with the Voyager Academy (Durham, N.C.) prospect a probable red-shirt, the need for frontcourt prospects in this class remains a major one.

In addition to Huff, highly regarded combo guards Kyle Guy and Ty Jerome also remain solid in their commitments to the Hoos.
