South River (Edgewater, MD) senior long-snapper and offensive lineman Daniel Moore announced his verbal commitment to the University of Virginia. Moore, a 6’5”, 240-pound prospect, will walk on to the Cavalier football program.

Moore becomes the latest of a handful of class of 2018 prospects who have revealed their intentions to walk on at Virginia, joining 6’7”, 235-pound Easton (PA) defensive end/tight end Trevor Storm, who announced last week, as well as Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA) linebacker Parker Chenault, Woodberry Forest (VA) long-snapper Lee Dudley, Episcopal (Alexandria, VA) running back Perris Jones, and York (Yorktown, VA) wide receiver/safety Cole Lytle.
