Former UVA Star Malcolm Brogdon Returns From Injury

After being sidelined since February 1 with a left quad injury, former University of Virginia star Malcolm Brogdon returned to the court for the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday (April 9).

Brogdon, the NBA’s Rookie of the Year in 2016/2017, scored 2 points (1-of-4 shooting), pulled down 2 rebounds and dished out 1 assist in 14 minutes of play in the Bucks’ 102-86 win over the Orlando Magic. All 14 minutes of action came in the first half.

The 6’5”, 215-pound Brogdon is averaging 13 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists this season. The Bucks (44-37) have clinched a playoff berth and currently sit at No. 6 in the East playoff standings. If the playoffs began today, Milwaukee would face Philadelphia in the first round of the playoffs.
