The Virginia football and men’s basketball teams each picked up wins over the weekend. The Cavaliers celebrated Senior Day at Scott Stadium on Saturday with a 45-24 win against Liberty to wrap up the non-conference portion of the football schedule. The Hoos followed up on Sunday with a 75-57 victory against George Washington at the John Paul Jones Arena to reach 2-0 on the young hoops season.
