At ESPN College Gameday earlier this month at the John Paul Jones Arena, Virginia student Angus Binnie won $18,000 by making a halfcourt shot during the show. That marked the third time in three Charlottesville broadcasts for the show that the student drained the deep shot attempt to win.
Perhaps, former Cavalier Anthony Gill found some inspiration from the repeated halfcourt magic at Virginia? The former UVA standout, after all, did this during a EuroLeague game for Khimki Moscow.

Gill has started 20 games for Khimki Moscow this season. He has shot 59.3% overall (54/91), 51.4% from 3-point range (19/37), and 73.3% from the free throw line (44/60). He has averaged 10 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
