The calendar turned to November so that means Virginia basketball season is now just days away. The Hoos open on Monday night when Tarleton State visits the John Paul Jones Arena for a 7 p.m. tipoff.
When the season officially gets going, fans will begin to follow a new-look edition for UVA basketball. Reece Beekman and Taine Murray return as the only players with multiple years of experience playing with the Hoos, while the rest of the roster is made up of underclassmen with hopes of growing roles or transfers making their debuts. That means there are plenty of questions for the team and plenty of intrigue for fans.
