Isaiah Robinson, 2025 Receiver, Commits To Virginia Football

The Virginia football team secured its first commitment in the Class of 2025 on Sunday when Trinity Episcopal School receiver Isaiah Robinson made the call for the Cavaliers. The Richmond prospect picked up the UVA offer this summer after attending a camp.

Robinson also had offers from Boston College, Duke, North Carolina, and Virginia in the ACC as well as East Carolina. He announced his decision on social media.

“I’d like to give thanks to my parents and siblings for being there for me at all times and helping me make my dream come true,” Robinson wrote as part of his announcement.

A 6’3”, 175-pound receiver, Robinson plays football and basketball at TES. He’s pulled in more than 500 yards receiving in his career. With only one receiver in the 2024 class (Triston Ward/Deerfield Academy, Mass.), this meets a position of need for the cycle.

Rivals rated Robinson as the No. 6 player in the state of Virginia for 2025. He’s a 4-star prospect in those rankings. UVA has no 4-star commitments in the 2024 class so Robinson is the top-rated pick-up of the last two cycles. True freshman Kam Robinson carried a 4-star rating from a small in-state school as well and he made an immediate impact for the Wahoos this season.

Ultimately, the camp visit in June made a good early impression on Robinson and the Hoos managed to land the commitment as the 2023 calendar year winds down.

“It’s a good school,” Robinson said in a TechSideline.com article. “My dad really loves it and talks about it all the time. I like what Coach [Tony] Elliott is doing over there. I’d say it’s the positive attitude he carries with himself all the time that stands out. I can just see how he takes pride in everything he does with the college and all his players know that.”
