UVA picked up a last-second home win against Old Dominion in football action last week. That lifted the team to a 2-1 record. Now the Hoos head to Syracuse on a short turn-around for a Friday night battle. It is the first ACC game of the Tony Elliott era and it happens to come against two former Cavalier assistants in Robert Anae and Jason Beck, who joined the Orange staff in the offseason.
