Sabre TV: Virginia Football Continues Preseason Prep

The Virginia football team continued preseason preparations for the 2023 season on Friday. The Cavaliers open the season in Nashville on Saturday, Sept. 2 where they face Tennessee at noon.

In this behind the scenes look at practice, the UVA quarterbacks, running backs, and receivers worked through passing, catching, and ball security drills. UVA offensive coordinator Des Kitchings said that the offense is going into the season with something to prove. Virginia finished 126th nationally last season by scoring 17.0 points per game.

“All the pieces [have to] come together, the backs, receivers, tight ends, O-Line – we’ve all got a little chip about ourselves to go out there and put together a good product,” Kitching said.
