HoosWhere Podcast: Virginia Offensive Players Austin Pasztor, Perry Jones

Virginia football alumni Chase Minnifield and Max Milien teamed up for the Hoos Where Podcast, which focuses on building the UVA alumni community through networking, conversation, and content. In this new episode, the hosts welcomed former lineman Austin Pasztor and former running back Perry Jones for a special live show.

Pasztor came to UVA from Ontario, Canada and carved out a role as a four-year starter on the offensive line. From 2008-2011, he started more than 40 games for the Hoos and he served as an anchor up front during the 2011 Chick-Fil-A Bowl season. Pasztor went on to sign with the Minnesota Viking as an undrafted free agent in 2012 and he eventually played 67 games in the NFL for Jacksonville, Cleveland, Atlanta, and Tennessee.

Jones overlapped for part of that time at Virginia, starring at running back from 2009 to 2012. He finished his Cavalier career with 3,722 all-purpose yards that included 2,033 rushing yards. He scored 12 touchdowns and threw 2 touchdown passes as well. Jones remains involved in football as the head coach at Glen Allen High School near Richmond.
