HoosWhere Podcast: Quin Blanding, Virginia Defensive Back

Virginia football alumni Chase Minnifield and Max Milien teamed up for the Hoos Where Podcast, which focuses on building the UVA alumni community through networking, conversation, and content. In this archived episode, the hosts welcomed former defensive back Quin Blanding to the show.

Blanding finished his Virginia career as the program’s all-time record holder in career tackles with 495. That passed Jamie Sharper at UVA and ranked No. 1 in the ACC for career tackles by a defensive back (No. 6 in ACC history overall). He started 49 games for the Hoos. Blanding was named ACC Coaches’ Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2014 and was first team All-ACC three times. He also made an All-American team in each of his seasons with the Hoos.
