With the calendar now flipped to April, the annual Virginia spring football game is just a couple of short weeks away. The game is set for 2 p.m. at Scott Stadium on Saturday, April 20.

That day also gives fans a chance to see former Cavalier star Bryce Perkins in person. The HoosWhere Podcast, hosted by former UVA football players Chase Minnifield and Max Milien, will hold at live podcast recording on Saturday, April 20 at 4 p.m at the Newcomb Hall theatre. The show will feature Perkins, founder of SipTale, and Naza Shelley, founder of CarpeDM, for interviews along with audience participation through Q&A.

Tickets are free (click here) and the event is open to fans.

Perkins earned All-ACC honors in back-to-back seasons and won the state’s Dudley Award in 2019. He set what was then a single-season passing yards record with 3,538 yards in 2019 and set the then school record for total offense in just two seasons with 7,910 yards. When he finished at Virginia, Perkins had tied Matt Schaub for No. 2 all time with 17 quarterback wins. He helped the 2019 team win the ACC Coastal Division title and earn a trip to the Orange Bowl.

The HoosWhere Podcast started as a way to build the UVA alumni community through networking, conversation, and content. Past shows have featured numerous Hoo football standouts as guests. You can check out some of those interviews with Chris Peace, John Bivens, Quin Blanding, Mikell Simpson, Chris Cook, and more here on TheSabre.com.

Minnifield ranked No. 2 in the ACC and No. 7 in the nation with 6 interceptions in 2010. He went on to play in the NFL. He currently serves as CEO of EZ Turn. Milien rushed for 264 yards as a senior for Virginia. He currently serves as President of Sabre Construction, owner of Hoos Hauling, and a partner at Moving Forward moving company.
