After a three-week hiatus from conference play, the Virginia football team returns to ACC competition with title hopes still on the line. First up: a trip to Pittsburgh, the team in the driver’s seat in the ACC Coastal Division. The Cavaliers can win the division if they overtake the Panthers and then take down rival Virginia Tech in the finale.
With a chance to return to the ACC Championship Game in play, fans have kicked around football topics throughout the week on the message boards. Obviously, the status of quarterback Brennan Armstrong – that’s still unknown and a game time decision – was one hot topic, but Wahoos discussed other things too, including the big picture outlook for the program.
