As amazing as it seems, the last week of the regular season has arrived for the Virginia football team. And you know what that means. It’s rivalry week with Virginia Tech!
The Hoos and Hokies are scheduled for a 3:45 p.m. kickoff at Scott Stadium on Saturday. The Commonwealth Cup is on the line with UVA looking to win at home for the second straight time after breaking the long series losing streak in 2019. VT, meanwhile, is looking for its sixth win to reach bowl eligibility.
Fans have had a lot of conversations this week about the Virginia football team and the matchup. Check out a few of threads from the week:
- You don’t know what you got till it’s gone. Think about this [with] Armstrong
- Dax said BA struggles with Man coverage …
- Re: Armstrong’s throwing motion. Does it limit his potential in any way?
- Our defense and ST force the burden of perfect execution on our offense …
- One tight end dump to woods where he trucks 4. My Christmas wish.
- Hoos by 14
- Looking back at the last decade, this rivalry could’ve been a lot different.
- A win vs Tech and in the bowl game would be great going into the offseason.
- On the question of whether recruiting is getting better (really long)
- I would hope we don’t extend Bronco at this point.
- Does this year’s poor D mean the Bronco era is a fail?
The showdown is just one day away! Pass the time with our weekly fan picks. Go Hoos!
