TheSabre.com Fan Friday: Media Days Behind The Scenes

The Virginia sports calendar creeps closer and closer by the day. It’s a little more than 10 days until the women’s soccer team plays the first exhibition scrimmage on Aug. 10 with other teams following closely behind. Then the women’s soccer team starts the UVA sports year officially On Aug. 17 with a home match against Nevada.

With just a few weeks to go before the Hoos are back in action, many of the fall athletes have returned to Grounds and began preparations for the soon-to-start season. Part of the preseason, each year, is when the teams go through their Virginia media day in order to create photos, videos, and more for HooVision, social media, and other outlets.

The Cavaliers have provided a glimpse at what a media day looks like for some of the teams in recent days.

Receiver JR Wilson provided a look at some of the activities for the Virginia football team.
