Virginia football alumni Chase Minnifield and Max Milien teamed up for the Hoos Where Podcast, which focuses on building the UVA alumni community through networking, conversation, and content. In this archived episode, the hosts welcomed former linebackers John Bivens and Chris Peace to the show.
Bivens started his UVA career as a linebacker with a lot of potential, but injuries derailed his promising career on the gridiron. He eventually flipped to the Virginia baseball team and was taken in the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft. Peace put together a standout career for the football Hoos. He led all ACC linebackers in sacks by recording 7.5 in consecutive years. After a third-team All-ACC senior season, he signed as an NFL free agent and appeared in five games. Both are now business owners.
