Austin Casey

Notes: As a junior, Austin racked up 56 tackles, 31 assists, seven tackles-for-loss, and one sack from the middle linebacker position. On offense, he rushed 71 times for 348 yards and eight touchdowns. Casey can bench press 320 pounds.

Casey's father is a former Virginia Tech defensive lineman.

Coach Willis White: "Austin is a good athlete who runs well and hits well. He has the potential to be a real good one. He hadn't really played linebacker until last season, when he played middle linebacker. He enjoys the contact and likes to hit. He can really shed off blockers and make the tackle."
