  • Class of 2004
  • St. George, VA (Blue Ridge School)
  • 6-2, 190 lbs
  • Status: Uncommitted
Notes: As a senior, Freeman played was the full-time quarterback for Blue Ridge, passing for 876 yards and seven touchdowns. He played safety for only half of the season, finishing with 44 tackles including 31 solo efforts, and two interceptions. He had a kick return for a touchdown as well.

A dual-sport star, Freeman excels in football and basketball.

Coach Alley: "Brandon is 6-2 1/2, almost 6-3, and a great athlete. He runs a sub 4.5 in the 40. Basically, Brandon has been our quarterback for the past two years. He's a terrific quarterback...a dual-threat player. This past year, he didn't have much support because we had such a young team. Brandon had to do a lot by himself. On defense, this was his first year playing safety, and he played the position for half the year. He had pretty good statistics for only playing half the season.

"Brandon's a natural talent, and it will be interesting to see where he can go once he learns only one position and has a steady workout routine. He's good now, but he can be a lot better."
