Steven Friday

Notes: As a junior Friday made 27 tackles-for-loss and had 17 sacks. He earned Group AAA coaches first-team all-state honors for his performance.

Coach Bill Dee: “Steven Friday is a big-time prospect, and the only thing he lacks is size. He’s tall but he doesn’t have much weight on him right now. He’s about 6-5, 215 pounds, but he runs really well and his motor is always on. Once he gets to college, I think he has the ability to put on a lot of weight. He could be a linebacker, defensive end, or safety in college. On offense, I’m going to play him at wideout next year because he’s so tall and fast. I think his most potential is on defense."
