- Defensive Tackle, Defensive End
- Class of 2005
- Eden Prairie, MN (Eden Prairie)
- 6-4, 285 lbs
- Status: Uncommitted
Notes:
As a junior last season, Ashley totaled close to 75 tackles with 10 sacks from the defensive line. Ashely was an all-conference, all-metro, and all-state selection his junior season. His Father, Walker Lee Ashley, played for Penn State and in the NFL for the Minnesota Vikings.
Coach Mike Grant: "He's 6-4 1/2, 285 pounds. He plays defensive end and defensive tackle both as well as a little tight end for us. He's in the offensive backfield quite a bit and we'll use him as a wide receiver in goaline situations. He's a very, very good athlete and he has probably the best hands on the team. He has a rare combination of skills."
