Wesley Jefferson

Notes: Wesley Jefferson is the cream of the crop of inside linebacker prospects. As a junior, Jefferson earned first-team All-State honors, finishing the season with 113 solo tackles and 13 sacks. Jefferson possesses the size, speed, and instincts to become an excellent middle linebacker in college. As a senior, Jefferson had 144 tackles (including 88 unassisted), 10 sacks, 1 interception, 7 forced fumbles and 4 fumble recoveries. Was named All-Met Defensive Player of the Year by the Washington Post, and played in the U.S. Army High School All-American Bowl on Jan. 5 in San Antonio.
