On a scale of 1-10, Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA) athlete Brad Kanuch rated his official visit to Virginia a 9. It was the first official visit for the 6-0, 175-pound speedster, who hopes to have a decision made before year’s end.

“I had a great time,” Kanuch said of the trip to UVa. “Coach [Al] Groh talked to me a lot and he talked to my family. Everything was really good. I haven’t made a decision, but I definitely liked it a lot. It was a good place to start and I can compare the other visits to it.”

Hosted by freshman offensive lineman Will Barker (who also hails from Pennsylvania), Kanuch enjoyed getting to know the players as well.
