The Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD) star currently lists six schools under consideration, but two have moved to the top.

“I’m still considering the same schools,” Taylor said. “I’m looking at Maryland, Penn State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Tennessee and Florida.”

Asked if any of those programs were ahead of the others, Taylor said “I probably like Maryland and Penn State the most.”

Taylor has made an official visit to Penn State, but has not taken any others and does not have any others set at this time. He hopes to take all five official visits before making a decision.

Looking back, how was the official visit to PSU?

“I feel great about them,” Taylor said. “I felt like it was a good place for me.”

Taylor stated what stands out to him about Virginia and Virginia Tech. He says both remain under consideration at this time and he recently spoke with the primary recruiters from both.

“For Virginia Tech, I’d have a great chance to play early. A teammate of mine, Rashad Carmichael , is already going there. They are losing like three defensive tackles this year.”

Maryland and Penn State continue to be the teams to beat and likely will be tough to beat, although Taylor still appears adamant about taking all five official visits.

The Season…

Taylor led Gwynn Park to an undefeated season at 10-0. This week, they face Westlake in the opening round of the playoffs. How has he performed so far?

“Individually, I think I did good,” Taylor said. “It feels great to finish the season undefeated. I give my all
