Virginia’s basketball season ended with a disappointing 77-74 loss to Tennessee in the NCAA Tournament, but there were some bright spots from the “could have gone either way” battle with the Vols. One of those was Adrian Joseph , who picked up his scoring after halftime and contributed all over the floor.
Joseph, the team’s sixth man all season, put together a strong half of basketball against UT and nearly helped the Hoos rally to victory. He scored 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting, including a key 3-pointer to pull the team within two at 64-62. All of those points and all but one shot came after intermission.
