Of Scott Vallone ‘s four visits within the past few weeks, two of the trips were to Charlottesville. Both experiences seem to have gone well for UVa and for Vallone, who was informed recently that he is one of the top defensive line recruits on Virginia’s board. We caught up with the St. Anthony’s (Long Island, N.Y.) star for comments on his experiences and the latest on his recruitment.
Vallone, who was on spring break last week, visited UVa for a spring practice on Friday, April 6th. He returned this past Saturday for the Spring Game. First, he offered his reaction to the practice.
“The practice went well,” Vallone said. “I got there around one. I hung out with [friend and former teammate] John-Kevin Dolce . I went to practice and into meetings. That day, the coaches were mostly talking about special teams. On the field, the defensive linemen were to the side. They were working hard. Even though it was a down day, they were still working hard.”
