UVa At MTSU Scouting Report: MTSU Offense

Mike London’s defense faces a team with a lot of skill position speed this week.

Injuries on the offensive line and at quarterback have forced Middle Tennessee State to make changes, changes that have altered the dynamic of the offense thanks to the insertion of freshman QB Dwight Dasher.

Dasher started his second straight game last Saturday against Florida International in place of redshirt junior Joe Craddock, who has been sidelined with a back injury for the last few weeks. The start against FIU was the first time Dasher had a full week of practice with the knowledge that he would be starting. It was also the first time G. A. Mangus was able to design the game plan around him.
