Friendly (Fort Washington, MD) defensive back Devin Wallace admits that he was “not mad, but a little upset” after learning of the departure of Virginia defensive coordinator and primary recruiter Mike London. However, London’s exit is not enough to sway the 5-11, 200-pound prospect to another school and he plans on signing a letter of intent with the Cavaliers on February 6th.
“It doesn’t affect my decision,” Wallace said. “I’m still 100-percent to UVa. I’m still going to come to Virginia and be competitive.”
Wallace has been firm in his decision since he committed back on June 16th, when he was one of a handful of prospects in Charlottesville for the Elite Junior Day. The feeling he had on that day remains fresh in his mind.
