Virginia’s attempted migration to a spread offense in recent seasons led to a recruiting and roster shift for the Cavaliers, meaning fullbacks and tight ends became nearly extinct in orange and blue. When new coach Mike London took the reins at UVa, however, those two positions quickly emerged as areas of need. Junior Terence Fells-Danzer saw that as an opportunity.
The Culpeper product flipped to fullback entering the spring practice period after previously playing linebacker at Virginia.
