Perry Jones saw action on special teams and tailback as a true freshman last season.

It may be a rather sizeable exaggeration to compare Perry Jones to Barry Sanders. But, when Virginia coach Mike London made such a comparison, Jones had to know he was doing something right.

“He made a couple cuts in practice like Barry Sanders,” London said. “He jump cuts, and then just does a little head-shake juke, and then bounces it to the outside.”
