Marc Verica enters camp as the starting quarterback for Virginia.

Marc Verica certainly can be described as a high-motor guy. He bounces in his seat, gestures with both hands, and taps the table for emphasis. His quick, concise answers at Virginia’s Media Day made it obvious that he would rather be out on the practice field than inside the John Paul Jones Arena talking to reporters.

“There just comes a time and it’s usually a couple weeks before camp, where it’s like ‘I just want to go and play football now,'” Verica said. “It’s time to go play.”
