No happy feet, no dancing through drops, and a Cool Hand Luke posture. With a good running game and play action passing at his disposal in the 34-13 win against Richmond, Verica posted a career-high 283 passing yards and his seventh career game with 200+ yards through the air.
Receiver Kris Burd said Verica stepped up to lead the offense to 488 total yards of offense and the 34 points, the most in a season opener since the 2004 game against Temple.
