First Impressions
In the judicial system when a criminal commits the same crime over and over they are labeled as a habitual offender. Cavalier football certainly fits that description as Virginia continued its habitual process of committing untimely penalties, hurling inexplicable interceptions, showing an inability to stop the run, self-destructing in the red zone and surrendering game-changing big plays.
As the difficult losses continue to mount for Virginia’s Cavaliers this season, so does the frustration. The Hoos have absorbed losses the last three weekends that very easily could have been victories. Virginia’s most recent disappointment came in the form of another opportunity where a second-half lead was erased by Boston College, culminating ultimately in another heart-breaking loss.
