Coach Mike London and the staff are busy analyzing this season’s production.
As bowl season winds down, teams are already starting to gear up for the 2011. Spring practice seems far off in the distance, while September and the beginning of another Cavalier football campaign seems eons away. However, the next season begins when its predecessor ends, and there is no doubt that head coach Mike London and his team of assistants and coordinators are already hard at work preparing for year two. In between countless recruiting trips and meetings, the coaching staff has some serious evaluating to do with regards to exactly what happened in 2010.
It seems a little melodramatic to say “what went wrong in 2010” since it was the first season that the new offensive and defensive schemes were introduced. Still, 3- and 4-win seasons just aren’t going to cut it for the Wahoo fanbase anymore. While the level of enthusiasm and passion is good, it means a lot of hard work and great strides need to be made during the offseason for the players and coaches.
