The New Jersey Star-Ledger Kye Morgan was one of those players listed, so naturally there was speculation as to how solid the Franklin (Somerset, N.J.) running back is in his commitment to UVa.

Sunday night, Morgan was asked which school he will sign a letter of intent with on February 1.
“UVa,” answered Morgan, who essentially said he only wanted to spend time with Franklin teammate Carlton Agodusi (a Rutgers commit) and take in the Big East basketball game.
The 5’11”, 180-pound running back prospect will sign and fax in his letter of intent to Virginia on Wednesday. He enjoyed a sneak preview of his college future the weekend of January 23, when he was in Charlottesville on an official visit.
“It was great,” recalled Morgan, who was hosted by Virginia running back Khalek Shepherd . “I had a good time hanging out with recruits and players. I hung out with pretty much everybody. It gave us all a chance to bond.
“[UVa] had answered all my questions before [the official visit]. I just wanted to go there and have fun and chill with my future teammates. I enjoyed it.”
Morgan also recalled meeting with running backs coach Mike Faragalli.
“He showed me a lot of the plays they do,” said Franklin’s all-time leading rusher and career leader in rushing touchdowns. “He showed me how they will use me. He showed me how they use running backs out of the backfield. I think it’ll be a good fit.”
Virginia Adds Impressive Walk-On
Virginia did well Sunday in picking up a commitment from Broad Run (Ashburn, VA) offensive lineman Jackson Matteo , who accepted a recruited walk-on spot with the Cavaliers.
