Brendan “Whitey” Marshall has been thinking seriously about committing to the University of Virginia since attending the ‘Hoos February 25 Junior Day event. In fact, before heading home from the junior day, he expressed to assistant coaches Bill Lazor and Anthony Poindexter that he was leaning heavily towards becoming a Cavalier. Today, the 6’5″, 210-pound junior signal caller made it official and accepted Virginia’s scholarship offer.
Quarterback for a highly talented Good Counsel (Olney, MD) program, Marshall chose the Cavaliers over an offer from California and serious interest from Boston College. He informed head coach Mike London of his decision today, shortly after making an unofficial visit.
