DeMatha Catholic (Hyattsville, MD) defensive end Deonte Holden says the Spring Evaluation Period “has been going pretty well. The latest offer I got is from UVa. Everything is going great as a team. We are bonding like a family.”

Virginia gives the 6’4″, 220-pound rising senior 12 scholarship offers in total. Charlotte, Cincinnati, Duke, East Carolina, Hawaii, Iowa, Marshall, N.C. State, Old Dominion, Temple, and Toledo have come through as well.

“I have equal interest for all of the schools that have offered me,” Holden said. “I don’t have a favorite yet.”

Holden adds that he will “most likely not commit until after the season.”
