Lakota West (OH) head coach Larry Cox believes rising senior standout C.J. Stalker, one of UVa’s top targets at the linebacker position, will make his college commitment in early August.
“Our preseason practice starts on August 4,” Cox said. “CJ told me before that he would have committed by the time preseason practice starts. I think another goal may be to whittle it down to three by the end of this week.”
Of the schools that have offered, Coach Cox sees six favorites for the 6’3”, 225-pound linebacker.
“At this point, he obviously thinks very, very highly of Virginia. I know he really, really likes Louisville. He really likes UC, Kentucky, West Virginia. I’ve got to say Indiana as well. I think these are the six favorites right now,” Cox said.
