UVa welcomes its new ACC rival, Louisville, to Charlottesville tomorrow. What recruits will be on hand to watch? We will have a rundown of confirmed visitors Saturday night, but in the meantime here are some notables…

4-Star Settle, Safety Petrishen Highlight Uncommitted Class of 2015 Visitors

– Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA) standout John Petrishen will be on Grounds on an unofficial visit, he confirmed to TheSabre.com this week. Pittsburgh and Wake Forest are the other top contenders for the 6’2”, 195-pound senior, who is hoping to make a commitment by the end of the month after visiting all three schools.

I see Pitt and UVa having the edge over the Demon Deacons at this point, but determining where Petrishen may be leaning is a challenge. It’s clearly a tough decision for him, and I could see him going in either direction.

Virginia likes Petrishen as a safety. Primary recruiter Mike Archer also likes his abilities as a punt returner.

– According to a 247Sports report, Stonewall Jackson (Manassas, VA) defensive tackle Tim Settle plans to be in Scott Stadium on Saturday.

Early on in Settle’s recruitment, UVa seemed to be in great shape. He made numerous visits last year and seemed very high on the Hoos. Virginia has fallen back, but if Mike London can get off the hot seat and impress this season, I still feel there is a chance for the Cavaliers. The 6’3″, 310-pound prospect is definitely looking outside the state, but Virginia Tech has impressed in recent weeks. UVa will look to do the same with a good showing against a Top 25 opponent on Saturday.
