There were a couple rare sites in Boston, not only Virginia playing under the lights of Fenway Park, but also the Cavaliers going cold at the plate. For an offense which ranks in the top 10 nationally in batting average, hits, and runs scored, the UVA baseball team only produced 10 runs combined throughout the weekend against Boston College.

Somehow, though, those runs were enough to pick up an ACC series win.

“Great teams find ways to win close games,” Cavalier catcher Jacob Ference said. “When one side isn’t picking up the slack, the other one does and that’s just what a great team does.”
