COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Virginia basketball team will try to break into the Sweet 16 on Sunday when it faces Oklahoma. The Sooners blitzed Mississippi in the opening round, 95-72, while UVA took care of Gardner-Webb 71-56.

Baseline Cross Screen
One set that Oklahoma ran repeatedly against Ole Miss is a simple cross screen to get a player into space. The Sooners used it over and over again in their opening round game, sending different players to make a catch just off the block and then play in isolation. The players away from the ball read the defense and cut accordingly.
