Sophomore Tandem Sticks Together With Eye On Big Roles For Virginia Football

Virginia hopes to produce back-to-back bowl seasons.

Three peas in a pod. That’s how PK Kier described it.

Kier and Lamont Atkins came from opposite ends of Northern Virginia in Winchester and Burke, while Jamari Peacock traveled north from Yulee, Florida. Once the recruiting paths for the three intersected as Virginia football commits, however, their worlds didn’t seem so far apart. Atkins and Peacock enrolled in January, while Kier followed in the summer last year, but the time of arrival didn’t matter much. The trio fell into lockstep quickly.

That bond only grew through their first season together.

“Right from the beginning, we built a relationship and it’s been sticking,” Kier said. “Now we’re everywhere together. Classes together. Moms take pics together. Three peas in a pod.”
