Often when the end of a college athlete’s career moves within sight, it can heighten one’s focus. Even with an extra year of eligibility created by the pandemic, Super Seniors can sense the urgency. That’s certainly true for Virginia cornerback Anthony Johnson.

Johnson began his career at Louisville where he played 32 games. He graduated and transferred to UVA where he added 12 more. The Florida native worked through coaching transitions at both schools.

“Most definitely,” Johnson said. “Being a freshman to now being a Super Senior, there’s been a lot of things I wish I could do different but I’m just going to finish strong.
