The Virginia football team’s defense again performed at championship level while the offense was a roller coaster with more downs than ups and special teams were anything but special. The result was a disappointing 14-12 loss in four overtimes to Miami and grades that vary.
That said, the placekicking operation did take top billing with a game high 98 grade, while the defensive backs leading the non-special teams grades with a 97.07. The offensive line posted its second lowest grade of the year and the lowest overall in UVA’s loss.
