Virginia Spring Game Takeaways – Offense

The Virginia football team returned to Scott Stadium on Saturday for the annual Blue-White Spring Game. On an afternoon featuring energy and emotion, the Cavaliers’ two teams competed in a close contest with a late interception finally sealing the win for the White team.

The game marked UVA’s first time playing in front of fans since the tragic shooting deaths of Devin Chandler, Lavel Davis Jr., and D’Sean Perry last November. Running back Mike Hollins and student Marlee Morgan were wounded in the same shooting. Hollins continued his remarkable comeback story on Saturday with a touchdown run in the Spring Game.

Both Muskett And Colandrea Displayed Versatility And Athleticism

Transfer quarterback Tony Muskett garnered lots of attention at the Virginia Spring Game as he competes for the starting job. He finished the game 11-of-14 passing for 149 yards and a touchdown, while adding another 28 yards on the ground.
